Are you thinking, “when I get to (insert any benchmark here) I will have everything in place so I will be able to take time off, get pregnant, spend more time with my kids, go see my aging parents, travel to that country I've been meaning to see, etc”

When the structure of your business is sound, when your systems are working for you, when you have a thorough understanding of your finances, and exactly what it is going to take to create the business and life of your dreams, then you are FREE to move about however you damn well please. Your business won’t be so reliant on your physical presence, or your mandatory 10 hour days anymore.

When you really believe in yourself and your vision, have a financial model to prove it will work, as the expert you'll inevitably hold stronger boundaries with yourselves and your clients. You will believe in your value-based pricing structure, which leads to not being reliant on a dollar per hour revenue structure, which leads to running (even growing) your business while spending less time and having a life.
