Here’s what you need to know.
1. Is your business profitable? (This one is CRUCIAL! And have you been paying yourself a market-rate wage?) (If the answer is "no" to either of these things come see me ASAP!) Sustainable profit range is between 10%-20%.
2. Without you, is there something of value you can leave behind?

IG followers, processes
intellectual property
3. Do you have someone internally you think would want to buy? Or are you looking for an outside buyer?
4. Do you have a realistic idea of what it would sell for? (This one is so important to get an expert opinion on the valuation. I have had multiple clients come to me wanting to sell and think their business is worth WAYYY more than it is, and that turning away serious buyers.)
