the money 💰 AND the magic 🌈
Someone asked me recently how business growth strategy and my intuitive skills work together. “Why not just pick one?” they asked.
I love this question and if you are a woman or a deeply feeling human you will get me on this.
Let’s say your bookkeeper sends over your monthly financial statement. You take a look and depending what you see, you get flooded with thoughts and emotions about the numbers you are seeing. If those numbers are good you might be thinking,
“Holy shit can I keep up with this amount of business?”
“How did I do this? Can I replicate this amount of sales again?”
“I felt so overwhelmed this month, yeah these sales are great, but it’s burning me out!”
And if the numbers aren’t so great you might think,
“holy shit is this the beginning of the end?”
“what am I doing wrong? How to I turn on the faucet? we need more sales ASAP”
“I can’t afford XYZ if this keeps happening. (cue downward spiral)
If you don’t have anyone to catch you and help you digest, process or strategize what to do with this information, the information is not helpful.
Because numbers are triggering. We are not robots and we don’t operate in a vacuum. When we do a financial projection, cash flow forecast or look at your Profit & Loss statements you are bound to have tons of FEELINGS about them.
Here’s where energetics come in. Because I can hand you a literal financial map proving your business will work, be profitable and pay yourself the salary you want. But if your FEELINGS about yourself, these numbers or this plan cripple you, you won’t take ACTION!
And I can’t just throw you to some mindset/empowerment guru who also doesn’t get the financial strategy side of things because we have to toggle between both constantly, and someone who doesn’t get business financial strategy just cannot hold that role for someone (in my opinion).
Growth strategy, financial projections and goals are a door in through the brain, and tarot, energetics, and belief work is like a backdoor through the heart. You are invited to use all of this information to grow. To grow your business and grow yourself.
Because, after all, entrepreneurship is the greatest mirror into ourselves.
